News that organic milk is more nutritious than ordinary milk brought a pretty large confusion among consumers. It certainly traveled fast. Most of the consumers, especially health conscious individuals are now picking organic milk instead of the usual ordinary milk. But do they even know what they have in common and what makes milk more nutritious than the other? A question only a few bothered to ask.
Well, to shed light on this matter, some research and experiments were conducted to help gain understanding on this issue. There are basically three factors that are at play here; the nutritional content, the milk shelf life and the cost.
If you have a tight budget, the organic milk may or may not be suitable for you depending on the circumstance. Since organic milk has longer shelf life, it can last up to a month or so. This is due to its processing where it’s heated to a temperature where bacteria that could cause easy spoil of milk are extinguished. So this may be the answer for you not to buy milk every other week. Yet the cost is higher compared to the other one.
As to the nutritional content, it’s said that organic milk is more nutritious because of the pure milk it’s produced and the lesser GMO’s are created because there is not much growth hormones that were included in the milk production. There are a few more differences but the bottom line is it’s still up to the customer which milk would suit them best.
